A memorial to the Second World War airmen of Polish Squadrons of the Royal Air Force stands next to the Cenotpah in the Co. Down town of Newtownards.
The Memorial was unveiled in 2018 to mark the Royal Air Force, Polish Air Force and Polish Independence centenaries.
It is dedicated to the memory of the Polish Airmen who lost their lives in the Battle of Britain and other theatres of the Second World War, the two Polish 315 and 303 Squadrons stationed in RAF Ballyhalbert and all the members of the Polish Forces buried in Northern Ireland.
