On 9th July 1942, Polish pilot Sergeant Henryk Komenda died as a result of the crash of a Supermarine Spitfire near the village of Ballycarry in Co. Antrim.
Sergeant Henryk Komenda fatally crashed on the 9th July 1942 in Ballycarry.
He is buried at Movilla Cemetery in Newtownards.
